Named as one of the “ultimate beaches” by Caribbean Travel and Life, Seven Mile Beach makes for an awesome day out near the water, seeing the sights, smelling the crisp ocean air, catching some rays or eating great Caribbean food. Attracting visitors from all over the world, Seven Mile Beach is one of the most popular beaches on the Grand Cayman Island. Since the beach is all public property, you’re able to walk it in its entirety, right past many of the top luxury hotels. There are restaurants and shops open to the public at many of the resorts, as well as several beach bars to grab drinks at.

There’s so much to do that you’ll need to plan ahead and decide what’s most important for you to do and see while here. Many visitors enjoy kicking it and just relaxing on the beach. A lazy afternoon until sunset, followed by some drinks at a beach-side bar is one of the simplest choices. If you’re looking to kick things up a notch, wave runners, boats, and other water toys are all available to rent nearby. Searching and reserving your vehicle of choice is the best way to plan ahead.

Once you’re through with the beach, there are many stores and restaurants right off the shore, affectionately called the Seven Mile Shops. You can visit their official website for the latest directory of stores and sights to check out in the area. The plazas offer different types of places to eat, drink, and shop.

If you make your way to the most northwest part of the island, you’ll be able to visit the Cayman Turtle Farm, where you’ll be able to take a dip in the fresh water tidal lagoon. Home to over 11,000 Green Sea Turtles, it makes for an educational, exciting one-of-a-kind trip for the whole family.

Whether you’re relaxing on the beach, heading out to sea for the day, or simply staying at the hotel to recharge, there’s truly something for everyone on the Grand Cayman Island. We look forward to you visiting soon.
