Exciting Beach Recreation & Activities on Grand Cayman
There are a wide variety of island attractions to enjoy while vacationing on the Grand Cayman Island. Many excursions and activities can be arranged through our partner Red Sail Sports.

Seven Mile Beach
Seven Mile Beach (SMB) is a long crescent of coral-sand beach on the western shore of Grand Cayman island. Despite its name, the beach is only about 5.5 miles (8.9 km) long. Seven Mile Beach is known for its beauty, recently receiving the honor of “The Caribbean’s Best Beach” from Caribbean Travel and Life Magazine and is a beautiful white sand beach and one of Grand Cayman’s greatest attractions. Guests enjoy exclusive access to the largest beach in Grand Cayman while having full access to the pool, beach and amenities (with charging privileges) at our sister property just few steps away.

Stingray City
You cannot miss swimming with the stingrays in their natural environment. This amazing water adventure will take you out to both the original North Sound Stingray City as well as to a shallow sandbar where you can comfortably stand (or run!) and interact with these beautiful marine creatures. Be sure to ask the front desk staff at our Grand Cayman island resort about booking your tour with Red Sail Sports.

Pedro St. James
This is the restored center piece of a national historic site overlooking the Caribbean Sea with the best view in Grand Cayman. Visitors can stroll through the edifice built along the lines of the Caribbean plantation Great Houses and containing period furniture and interesting artifacts from that long-lost time. Visit the gift shop and don’t miss the site’s multimedia show (it runs every hour); rated the best in the Caribbean, it’s an experience you will long remember. Open Daily 9:00am to 5:00pm. Call 345-947-3558.

Turtle Farm
Make sure to bring your swimsuits when you visit the Cayman Turtle Farm, where you’ll be able to watch and hold Cayman sea turtles. Most guests also take a refreshing dip in the Breaker’s fresh water tidal lagoon. For the older members of the family, there’s also snorkeling at Boatswain’s snorkel Lagoon, which showcases the true, natural beauty of the Cayman marine environment.
Hundreds of different species of topical fish and turtles thrive in this swimming area, guaranteeing some up-close views and photos. After the underwater experience, families are invited to relax on the white sand shores near the tropical lagoon.

Located on the waterfront in Georgetown, The Old Courts Building contains many historical and natural artifacts of Caymanian life, great for stopping in with the family and learning about the Caymans. The museum is open Mon – Fri 9:00am – 5:00pm and Saturday 10:00am to 2:00pm. For more information, call 345-949-8368.
